David graduated with a BA in Accounting from the University of Washington in 1983. He is a fractional CFO, a strategic thinker with a numbers background, who specializes in offering real strategic partnership and providing meaningful financial information and implementation to growth-oriented businesses. His industry experience  includes technology, professional services, manufacturing, medical devices, and professional services. He currently services nine companies across multiple industries with a current operational controllership of $80M IT budget and $300M R&D budget, with a forecast accuracy within +-2%. He provides labor modeling for 1,000+ engineers to support hiring plans, and has successfully integrated accounting and finance operations for three legacy offices. His efforts have enabled savings of $10 million in an IT Vendor Management function, and he has implemented a cost accounting system and a new general ledger resulting in company level awards. He has worked in public accounting and internal auditing, in the University of Copenhagen, Denmark's International Program, and as a CPA in Anchorage Alaska. He is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor, member of the CFO Leadership Council, and a Mass Challenge Austin Mentor.
